*SPOILER ALERT*
In the book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, it shows many prospectives even though they are not the people that are narrating the story. I think this adds so much more character to this story and makes it much more interesting to read. You get a real feeling of what Augustus, Isaac and her mom are thinking even though Hazel is the narrator.
For example, While Augustus takes Hazel to a picnic you can clearly tell that he is feeling anxious to tell her about taking her to Amsterdam. He sets everything up over the top and rushes her to the perfect spot he planned for the picnic to be. He then rushes her to tell her the news, so you can tell he is very anxious.
Another example is when it was the night before Isaac had the operation to become blind. He had tears streaming down his face and he was having tantrums. The auther made it very clear that Isaac was extremley overwhelmed and angry and sad.
In conclusion, The author shows lots of deph in the story and characters. You understand every emotion they feel just by how the author describes it. This book so far is really good and i really look forward to reading the rest! :)
