Response Based on Reading Responses

   I read 2 reading responses by my fellow classmates, Katia and Lily. This response is based on my opinions and responses to their summer reading response.
 
   Katia wrote about a book called 'Shadow and Bone'. Katias response had a lot of great detail and feeling. In her response portion she made a ton of great connections to previous books she has read such as 'Divergent' and 'The Hunger Games'. She did great connections between the characters of those books and the characters in her summer book. She found the moral of the story as well. Overall i thought her response was complex and interesting!

   Lily wrote about the same book as me. 'Steve Jobs- The Man Who Thought Different: A Biography' She did a very good job responding to he biography. Her response was more of a summary but I think that is fine to do when you respond to a biography. Her response covers a lot of important information about the main idea of the book. She expressed the key details which is great in a response. It states all the things you want to know more about.

   In conclusion, both of the responses were interesting and fun to learn about. Both of them made their responses interesting for the reader. I think that is a great skill to have when writing responses. Great job guys!
