Steve Jobs- The Man Who Thought Different: A Biography

In the book "Steve Jobs- The Man Who Thought Different: A Biography" by Karen Blumenthal you get a great sense of what his career was like. Although the author didn’t personally interview Steve Jobs, he seemed to have a sufficient amount of facts and stories. The book was a great read for many reasons.
There were many things I liked about this book. One thing I liked was how they showed all the ups and downs of his career. Even though Karen didn’t write about his life birth-death she captured his entire work life in about 300 pages. I thought it was so inspiring and interesting that he started the ‘Apple’ product/company in his parents’ basement. It just goes to show how you can do anything you want to do no matter how small you start.
Another thing I liked about the book was how they didn’t only focus on Apple. They also described his life working at Pixar. I think the Pixar portion of the book was just as interesting as the Apple part. I related to the Pixar part because I was growing up in a time where Pixar was at its peak. I loved “Finding Nemo” and “Shrek” and now I realize how much work went into those films. I really appreciate it more after reading the book.
In conclusion the book was really interesting! I never thought about how Apple was created. I always just thought of it as always being there. The book taught me a lot about Steve Jobs and all about his life.
